firefox problems

Both at home and at work firefox constantly crashes on me. Does anyone else get this? I've heard of other people having problems too... it does my head in.

It granted me express access to a few viruses the other day! Aside from that I recently noticed that the awesome bar makes it very slow, but it's not crashed yet.

What have you been on that makes it crash? Mine crashes sometimes too, but it's always at the same site or it's something I know crashes it. It's never actually been the browser so far.

Oh and Harry, from your other post, I recommend installing NoScript

I'm using a mac. I've been getting so fed up of it I'm resorting to Safari. I think it might be the developer tool things and the Stumble jobby.

That's interesting, cause I'm on a mac as well and I've had the exact opposite experience. I actually switched to firefox because I could not take Safari constantly crashing. Now I use Flock for practically everything.

Try Camino, its the most lightweight browser for the mac, I use it if I need a bit of speed with no plugins.
