    Freelancers suck

Found this post while browsing the interweb.

Apparently freelancers arent to be trusted. I was quite annoyed and left a comment on the post.

Don't see what the issue is, this is too true...

But here’s the tricky part, in doing so you don’t want to fall for a scam yourself. There are so many new designers popping up every day, any young kid with a free download of PhotoShop or similar graphic software considers themselves a professional designer, purchases a domain for $10 and sets up his online design company.

It's quite true though :( and it's not the fault of real designers it's the ones who grab a pirated copy of photoshop and set up shop! It sucks for people who are determined to make it in the industry and try really hard to be good at it and then have work stolen from them because some 12 year old will do it for a tenner. You shouldn't be angry at the person who wrote the article - be angry at the idiots devaluing the industry! If you see one kill it :P With fire!

No I'm kidding of course :P And nothing against 12 year olds :P

Well, I didn't buy it myself but I did get it one extended licence through work. Why? Did you?

My dad told me that Adobe doesn't care too much about single persons if they downloaded their software, but if that person went to work and told his boss that the Adobe software rule and that they should use it, THEN they should pay for it.

Fact is - there are lots of shitty designers out there flooding the market with their shite. Most the time however, they don't get more than a few commissions and they don't get jobs - why? creativity and their total lack of it...
