Default gallery viewer ideas! arg!

I have a quick question. Does anyone know of a "free" program which I can embed a gallery thubnail viewer on a webpage that is easy for my client to upload photos herself?

Here is the current gallery I created for her.
A Peach in a Pear Tree

I used this using a javascript thumbnail. But she needs to be able to add pictures. I used photoshop to create the circles but there is no way she can update this herself without some photo editing skills.

Anyway any iders?

You could use something like GD for PERL to automatically crop the images or alternatively just create a circular transparent gif with a cream background and position it over the other image, simple.

I don't think I read it fully. Carl's transparent gif (thuogh I'd use a png) would work. See: Digital Web Magazine - Creative Use of PNG Transparency in Web Design

GIFs are compatible with more browsers than PNGs and for this type of thing high image quality is not needed.

Yeah, but I made the exact same thing with gifs and they looked absolutely horrible, so I used pngs and a simple workaround.

Used it with/without matte and it always looked fairly crap next to a png.
