Default good recruitment agencies?

I'm basically looking for another job because this one doesn't pay well enough. I'm signed up with a couple of design-specific recruitment agencies (clifton parke and gallery resources) but they're both a bit shit, to put it nicely. You apply for stuff on their websites, and never hear anything back from them. They won't tell you the name of the company you're applying for, so you can't go directly to the company and it really cheeses me off.

So does anyone know of any good design-specific recruitment agencies, or anything else I can do to speed this up a bit? I'm getting a bit fed up, they're crap and slow and don't help me, I feel like I'm wasting my time, and the longer I look for jobs and don't get any where, the more annoyed I get!

I got this job through Purple the lass who I met with was really nice and helpful. Not sure how wide their jobs are spread about though, although I think they did have an office in London too it might be mainly a North Yorkshire based thing. Might still be worth getting in touch with them though.

Very desperate. I'd help if I could but I can't. Not a clue I'm afraid.

Maybe the most subtle bit of self promotion I've ever seen, congratulations

lol thanks for that, I have to say though that website is verrrrry confusing, had to search through all the pages to find out how I sign up for jobs and send my CV. The whole site seems to all be in gibberish, SEO overkill perhaps? But I will sign up now that I've found out how to.
