Anyone made the plunge? Family seriously considering it... worth it?

We have HD here in the States, and I have to admit I can't see the difference! My husband swears by it though.

I suppose the only benefit would be is if the program/move/game was created in HD... else Coronation Street will pretty much look the same! lol

we have looooads of Hd content - HD vs SD - there is an unimaginable difference - my mum was unconvinced until we bought (downloaded hrough bitcomet) BBC Planet Earth 1-5 in 720p... my mum now wants Sky HD...

was just wondering how much of Sky's content actually definently looks HD.. im definently skeptical (sp?) about full HD being transmitted and caught through an AERIAL... i dunno :S
