Default This is a long shot but...

Ok - This is a real long shot but Im building myself a retro skateboard...you know the kind, the style that the Dog Town Z - Boys used to use...

Anyway, Ive built my deck from scratch and grip taped it up, Ive got my bargain wheels from ebay - £4 however they are really soft and I love them! Now all I need is the trucks.

I know all of you lot my not be skating pros however if there is one guy or girl out there whose got a retro skateboard sitting at the back of their garage which they either dont want or are willing to sell/give me the trucks Im going to be over the moon!!

Im looking for skateboard trucks in the range of 2inch - 6inch wide.

Let us know if you do - like I said...its a long shot but I'll be over the moon if it works!

Phil

You should be able to find an old pair of "Independents" just about anywhere out there... I have a friend who builds custom longboards who gets them all the time.. but none for FREE

You can also look here specifically at their "Oldschool Boards" section. That links to the trucks.

Cool concept though... I personally LOVE the long boards. You can cruise hills at amazing speed and they are just SO fluent. The big soft wheels are great on pavement.
