Default My New House in Costa Rica
My old lady and I and are two dogs will be moving to Costa Rica tomorrow to live the freelance dream.

Thats awsome, im looking to do something like that myself in the future. Any particular reason you choose Costa Rica? There has got to be a story with this? ;)

Costa Rica is paradise. HOWEVER.
Even though you moved to a community with a guard get a good alarm system and NEVER Leave anything outside or in the car.
Don't get me wrong. The Ticos are awesome people but very poor.
That jam system and wide screen you'll probably set up is 3-5 years salary to them.
That $2000 video cam is nearly a years salary.

If you leave $40,000 dollars ( gringos years salary) on your dash I"LL STEAL it !!! LOL

Enjoy the place and be humble with the locals.
