Mac messenger!

Has anyone else been having problems logging into messenger for the mac? I've been getting the following error for a couple of weeks now:

"Sign in Microsoft Messenger failed because the service is not available or you may not connected to the internet"

My connection is fine so not sure what the problem is. I also can't connect with Adium...

They might have switched it off - Can't say I've tried to log on recently.

One sec....make that many....signed in fine.... maybe just a temp thing for you...

I'm using Mercury these days. Mac MSN is somewhat unstable and aMSN is even worse. I couldn't get Adium to log into MSN. I haven't had any problem with Mercury yet, and the best thing about it is that I can use a webcam with it!

I've tried Mercury but it didn't work either unfortunately. Looks like I'll have to use meebo - online web IM for AIM, MSN, Yahoo, Google Talk messengers for the time being!

i use mac messenger and sometimes it fails to sign in but always works on the second attempt
