You sound a bit like me, except I'm not a classic fan, I notice you have Stairway to Heaven on your list, One of my favorites

Nice work Mick. I just checked out your artwork on some websites. Yes, Stairway to Heaven is hands down, the best rock song ever. I grew up in New Mexico listening mostly to Sabbath, Rush, Zep, VH and .... you get the picture. I also unfortunately grew up listening to very bad country music. I like the new stuff, but old country isn't my thing.

Yes, Mick...the zebra is mine. I believe most of my art is marked with my name. I actually own the art gallery (it's not just an online presence).

I have several color pencil pieces as well as pen and ink. I'll probably be posting some on here. I'm working on a business card right now that's similar to the Bill Graham presents art of the Grateful Dead times.

: )

I will make very many of these! For now have my ultimate floor-fillers playlist, these are the soul tunes that never fail to pack a dancefloor :)

1: Candy and The Kisses - The 81
2: The Velvettes - Needle In A Haystack
3: Martha Reeves and The Vandellas - Heatwave
4: Edwinn Starr - 25 Miles
5: Richard Temple - That Beatin' Rhythm
6: Tony Clark - Landslide
7: Rosie Batiste - Hit and Run
8: JJ Barnes - Love Is In The Pocket

Aaaaand a non-soul list:

1: Fuzz Townshend - Smash It
2: Mr Scruff - Ug
3: Beck - Sexxlaws
4: Coldcut - Beats n Pieces
5: Pop Will Eat Itself - Karmadrome
6: Alice Russell - Humankind
7: Mr Scruff and Quantic - Its Dancing Time
8: Gorillaz - Feel Good Inc (Had to get Mr Albarn in there somewhere!)

I could go on but too much to do. Good to see diversity here!

Oyes.

To be honest you should just add "all Portishead ever". They are lovely.

(And Massive Attack too. Mmmm Massive Attack)
