hmm, am on an 8mb connection here and the movies would not play smoothly at all... :( which is a shame cause it looks like a really entertaining site

Bummer. I usually enjoy 8mgs & it ran beautifully. Perhaps you were at less than optimum when you were on their site. My cable service fluctuates big time–from 8 to sometimes as low as 3 on peak demand times.

The movies run pretty smoothly for me. No buffering ...

so i tried it again cause i thought it might have been traffic on a week day and it is still not smooth at all and i looked at my current speed:
448 Kbps Upstream
6464 Kbps Downstream
which should be plenty!
weird huh? :( i really want to see the site!
