animation similar to Onomatopoeia but based on meaning

I am assisting in an animation that is centered around words and their meaning. How the word is "introduced" to the animation has to do with the meaning of the word. The meaning of the word also effects the transition from one word to the next.

For instance. The screen starts out black and a searchlight comes on to find the word "missing" or the word "Jump" forms by the various letters bouncing into the screen.
or "pass" would be italicized and have motion blurr effect.

Anyways, is there a name for this?

I am stuck on a few of the words and hoping to find the correct terminology to aid in research.

I think you are talking about our spatial intelligence. I know this involves our capacity for perceiving, creating, and recreating pictures and images. People who are spatially intelligent are often able to convert words or impressions into mental images.

If you are stuck with specific words then try a thesaurus and use a similar word to visualize your original word. Try and think laterally. For this Edward De Bono is your man.

onomato...what!!! its one of those words youve heard of somewhere in your lifetime but you dont have a clue what it is. I found that word funny
