It's just knowing where to start really. But get yourself out there and start seriously looking whilst you've still got the enthusiasm for it. It's easy to settle for second best sometimes when you seem to be having no luck at all. And Manchester's not that far away. I've just found a link that I'll send you...

Well I've seen a few jobs around the Manchester area I could apply for, I really should get myself out there and try and find some freelance as well I suppose.

It's just bits of this and that. I have't done any band photography for a little while now, I really should get back into that. You get to see a lot of good gigs and get paid for it! That's the trouble with Glasgow on the job front, it's too restrictive. You need to be very lucky to grab an oppertunity here. Whereabouts are you thinking of applying?
