Genius Switch Logo Design

Logo design I've just finished for a web dev company in the US.

I Love this Logo. It's possible the best I've seen in a very long time. My only other comment, is that I think it might (might) work better without the tail on the switch symbol which in that orientation already looks like a G.

i like the red color and the g+switch combination

at first look i thought that the G is 9

I like this. Very clean. I can see what is meant by the '9' but wonder if the extra curve to form a more obvious 'g' might look wrong.

colors are nice. but i agree with previous comments. the tail on the mark makes it look like a "9".

Also, the shape looks a heck of alot like the logo you have here on estetica-design-forum. my guess is you reused the shape for this logo?

I understand the company name has "switch" in it, but for me, the whole computer power switch element is grossly overused. I'd rather see a more creative approach. The logo overall just gives me that "predictable" feel, like when you go see a movie that looks good, but turns out to be very predictable.

Mmmmmm, I thought it was a little familar. But thought it fell into that 'the feels right' design. When they are side by side, it's obvious they are fairly similar.

I think if you ditch the tail on it, and turn it so it it absolutely the same perspective as an uppercase "G". You will undoubtedly still see the "switch", but also with the "G" orientation it will appear different.

I see what you mean about the Vodaphone, Paddy, but we don't have that in the US so people here will not relate them.

I love the whole thing Toon. I think it is really well developed. I think it will stand alone in the US market.
