guess they do. I have to say though that the symbol relies too much on the gradients for its strength, as you can see in the white version, its depth and definition is lost. It does not give off the same feeling as the gradient color version at all. Obviously, as you pointed out earlier in this thread, toon, that it's much easier to get by using gradients in a logo these days, being that all media/marketing the company produces can be controlled to look correct, but the fact remains that there are tons of shi*tty copiers, fax machines, etc out there that will butcher such a logo. I'm still a firm believer in that the logo needs to be as strong, in black and white than in its color, enhanced version.
DO you have a black and white version of the BT Logo for us to see?
Note: such factors, IMO, are not as high of a concern when you're dealing with a client who's only rewarding a $125 prize. They're going to get what they paid for.
I do love the type you used though. very nice.
