Default Some advice on this logo...

I am trying to create a logo for free running for Derby UK. Its a uni project and im not sure about this one.

Also what type would be best suited to say 'Derby Free Running'?

i think its Parkour right? The thing is, I couldnt really get it from the silhouette image alone. It looked like, pardon me, a guy in a wheelchair with a really large freaky leg.

The fontype for the letters lacks an upbeat, rugged look so please do try other styles. For this you can tweak and design your own fontype.

And I wish we have Parkour here.

Yer ill take the stroke off etc and rtry using a different person as the vector. Its my 1st proper time using AI, getting the hang of it now though.

There is too much detail in the stroke around the running man. try to simplify it a bit more. Logos need to work well in small scale as well. And the typeface is a bit 'eh'. Doesn't really work with the sillouette. Keep pumping out the drafts though.
