Nice logo. Nothing wrong with seeing blueprints.
It may give other designers ideas on how to align & structure their logo design and their process.

Chill out, friends! It's OK.
It is not really interesting wheather you are making graphic design for 5, 10 or 16 years. It is interesting you are not friendly to the grid lines and their usage.
Grid lines are not the love of my life but using and understanding them makes your vision far more precise, clear and understandable. Once you've made youre logo with the grids you can either leave it the way it is or make few corrections to break the perfect geometry.
Using grids makes clear the logic of your composition - what alignments U use, the structure gets real meanin as U can see how the thickness of a single line is used several times and how this thicknes reflects to the radius of a certain rounding.
I am realy confused from your questions... you have nice logos in your website...
And not to forget - it is not useful in every logo.

Make the system, then brake the system - thats the true meaning of grid lines:-)
