Default soederberg-webdesign logo

I´ve played around with my new logo, and want to hear what you think?

Don´t know if I know how to post images though but I will try...

My first name is Lone, so the big L is for Lone...
and soederberg is my sur name....

I love the colours and the font the only thing I think could be improved is the L it's a little static and flat, I would try and make it more of an involved element but it's a good start.

It's just an L at the moment nothing more, nothing less, you should use that L to become a focal point of the logo and something that can be used on it's own and still recognizable.

you could make the bottom of the l bigger make the soderberg bit pink , the webdesign grey and put the webdesign bit in the bottom of the l - more "involved" i think

Now I´ve added some effects to the L...

Is this better?

I´m still pretty new in Illustrator, so my skills are limited...

I have made the bottom of the L the same height as the word webdesign, and made it at an angle to follow the W.....

try stylising the shape of the 'L' to make it more distictive and unique. The Sure 'tick' and the Nike 'swoosh' are both essentially based on the same thing but are distictively different and both instantly anchor thier respective and very different brands.
