Happy Campers logo

here was my first shot at it:

LogoSauce™ - Happy Campers

I slightly modified the outline of the text to resemble a campervan. the CH gave a target audience age range of 18 to 35, so I went for a more hip and cool look as apposed to any design that includes a smiley face, so of course the ones the CH has said he likes both have smiley faces (and he says he wants it to stand apart from the crows, HA! so much for that)

one he likes: LogoSauce™ - happy campers logo

Which totally blows my mind considering it does not convey, nor has anything to do with, the CH's business of selling/renting camper vans. Not to mention it includes the oh-so typical smiley face to portray the "happy" element of the company name. God help him if he chooses that as the winner to represent his company.

Like the sun but I wouldn't want a "happy font" but if thats what they want

wow, you like the sun? i thought it was quite childish and will totally miss the 18 to 35 year old audience the CH says he wants to focus on.

What's also odd is the CH comments that he liked it because it can be cut out from a single colour vinyl, yet that design has both a "glow" and a gradient effect to it. More and more I'm thinking this CH has zero knowledge of the graphic and print industry. or am i missing something?

I think happy campers has some of the worst entries for a logosauce comp I've ever seen

That second link, the font in those logos made me read it as 'happy crampers'.

or maybe it should be "happy crappers" because that's what it makes me feel like doing when i look at the font.

That's why I stay away from the comps that require 'happy fonts' or 'animals'
