How to top Google images?

As I mentioned in my other post, I specialise in cartoon logo design, and I've done a lot, and I like to think that I offer really good quality. Anyway, if you put 'Cartoon logo design' into google and look on images, you don't see anything of mine anywhere, even though I've done hundreds and hundreds.


I've put loads of samples on my site, on sites like logopond, forums, flickr, photobucket, facebook, everywhere. Named them all with key words, tagged them all, and still no sign of my work anywhere.


What can I do to change this?

It may also be part of the strength of your site, if google can tell your site is about this and it has strong link backs it will rank the images on it higher. Remeber google can't see the images but it can read titles and tell what site they are linked to

Other SEO factors still play a major role in the image ranking for your target keyword. That means the page containing your image should be well optimized using the same keywords. Off-page, the number of links and overall popularity of the page will also help the image rank. If Google values the site itself, that will translate just the same in the image search results.

How do I attach ALT tags to images, like the one above?

My website Look Creative Studio - LOOK Home was done through MrSite Pro, which was bought specifically because it has a SEO addition in admin, to add in al the meta tags and such onto pictures. Doesnt seem to have made any difference though

The image above is linked to flikr I think not your site, so how is the image on your site going to rank better?

• The better the web page ranks for any keyword, the better that the image on that page will rank
• Keyword use in the image’s file name counts
• The keywords on the site around the image and captions for the image also count
• People linking to that image from their site esspecially if it's relevant
• The authority of the domain which an image is hosted on is important

Type in Graphic Design Forum into google and guess what, image from here are there, not really because they're images on a graphic design forum but because google knows what this site is ranked for so images here must be relevant

How do I attach ALT tags to images, like the one above?

MrSite Pro has no SEO addition trust me, you were conned, you need to hire a web designer to make you a SEO optimized site so you can rank better. View the source code and search for H1, this is what Google takes as your "main heading" what the page is about, guess what? You don't even have one.

It's a shame you've been conned by the guys at MrSite Pro but it's just a site, nothing Pro about if on their behalf, which is a shame because you obviously have a talent for art.
