Strongbow Rebrand: London design agency Wearebulletproof have done a rebrand of Strongbow Cider:

Any thoughts on it?

I like it apart from the slightly off centre icon above the strongbow wording

There's not really a huge amount of difference, I wonder why they bother given what it's going to cost them.

That new icon reminds me of something so much, but I can't seem to remember what.

Anyone else feeling the same, or is it just me?

Perhaps it's just the Oscar statuette or something...

The archer is very of the time, all shading and rendered, but yes very Oscar like and not overly distinctive as such. But my word how 80's was the previous archer?

I prefer the shading of the new lettering over the yellow effort previously but wish they'd got rid of the larger "S". Also the flicks on the "N" and "R" make them look disproportionately large.

The new bottle and can are nice and clean if not pretty generic with the swirly curve.

It's an improvement but not "wow".
