why is the transparent circle off center?

hmm... not too sure about it! fair enough it is just a jazzed up remake but i think they could have gone with something a little less vague hapening in the middle! i mean if they wanted a logo that looked like someone had used it as a coaster for their morning coffee they could have done a better job.

I'm having difficulty liking it.....mainly because the new middle circle is not centered on the back two.

I wonder why they did it off-center?

I personally like the old logo...the middle circle is kind of destructing

could it be that the designer has tried to give the impression of reflecting light (see below) with a way too modern twist on it?

I am liking the Mastercard story board. It is interesting to see the transformation the brand has gone through over the past 40 years. I don't really like the new logo design as it does not have any character or values. It is also a little dull with mundane colours and standard text.

Lets hope it does not last for long.
