I didn't see the bottle at first, but then I had an "a-ha!" moment. Have you done any package design Euan? It would be cool to see a wine collection mocked-up based off of this logo.

Nah, i've never done any packaging apart from a uni project last year in which i branded a scotch whisky. Would love to do the full works with this but ashame there is no such brand as 'Hanuet' and i don't really have the time either.

That was one of the first logos/graphics i done. The photo of the whisky is actualy tea...slick!

It's first class and I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but don't go too far down the path of concepts as you can then often struggle when it comes to real clients, it's kind of reverse design, you find something that looks good and works and then you apply it to an industry whereas the art is to do it the other way around, there's a few too many portfolios full of concept work these days, client work is what will really make you stand out.

Thanks Leah, i understand what you are saying and this is actually the first time i have made up a brand and made a logo for it . Its just something i made as i was doodling and thought i would draw in up in illustrator.
