hehe, very possible - typical of google, no new ideas from that company anymore - very sad :(
i know, they really build great applications - but still they are destroying the market in some senses as they come along and copy other ppls apps.
but chrome is innovation in the very core - it is the first major browser to offer separation of computer processing for every tab opened. They have taken into account modern platforms, like JAVA or Macromedia, and separated processing of these apps helps to fasten the browsing and makes information protected from being lost (if one tab is killed by a bug, the other open tabs stay untouched and browser doesn't fail). Besides, they offered some really ergonomic design, devoting as much space to the actual browsing as possible. Chrome rules :headbang: (although I am still not used to it)
yeah, chrome is a wonderful browser and i use it alot (tho firefox is still better as it has tools i use). chrome is not the first browser to make each tab be its own app - there is a plugin for safari that makes each tab an app.
Fundementaly Chrome is nothing special - very different UI, which is cool. There are quite a few security issues with it, such as the download issue, but im sure they will fix it.
What i dont understand is, why dont they go to another project, like firefox, and give them cash and assistance to make it better, rather than reinventing the wheel (so to speak).
:)
Never worked with Safari a lot, that's why I had no idea they did smth similar. But I really don't mind Google trying it - if they won't be good at it they'll leave, but if they will manage to do good - it will benefit us, users. Most people don't mind the domination of IE, so why on Earth bother when a new player enters the market, especially if it can take over good chunk from MS browser:nijajig: Besides, cooperation in suitable only if you can't do things yourself, but Google has plenty of enthusiasts and we shall be glad company invests into ideas rather than into some stocks![]()
Ahuh, been Chrome user since it was launched and it's pretty neat. Though as some other have said, it lacks add-ons that Firefox has which pretty take them off. But nonetheless, good job for Google.
