I'm not that keen on the design to honest, but I think it might look a little less VIVID! if you put it on a neutral background. Some shade of grey perhaps.

yea for one change the background, your trying to sell your artwork, not the background. so make it stand out, try using light shades of gray.

and work with the space on the back of the business card, its unblanced.
