Wedding Monogram

Hey...new to this forum - just wanted some impartial feedback. My fiance and I are getting married next year and I've designed a monogram based around our initials (S...Sara, B...Byron).

I wanted something simple, strong and iconic that could go on invitations, wedding programs, dinner menus, maybe even as a cake topper or special lighting screen for the dance floor.

I'm pretty pleased with what I came up with...but I'm wondering if the "B" in it reads strong enough? It's a little loose because I didn't want any lines going through the heart shape the two letters form. Keep in mind, these aren't strangers at our wedding, they know us as Sara and Byron so it's not rocket science. But just wanted some feedback/suggestions.

Nice idea. That's a tough challenge to get those to letter forms to create a heart! I think the heart is the only real noticeable element, for me. You can read a little bit of the "S," but the "B" isn't as easy to see.

Just a thought... Have you tried mixing the "S" and the "B" staggered? So, instead of the heart being made out of the top halves of each letter, it's made by the top half of the "S" and the bottom half of the "B"?

Hmmm...I'll try it and see.

I had initially thought about making the letters two different colors but for simplicity and for using it in multiple situations, I'm gonna stick with one color.

The staggered might create an interesting look. A lot of monograms do the interlocking rings things...if I stagger them I might try to make the heart shapes kinda interlocking as opposed to smoothly connected as they are now too...

Here is an update. I tried using the lower part of the B in the heart and it just doesn't look right.

We are going to have an outdoor wedding and she'll have a bouquet of black magic roses, so I tried tying all of that in.

I know it seems maybe I am going for too much symbolism with the initials, the heart & the rose but I dunno, I kinda like it.

Fonts and font placement are definitely subject to change I just wanted to through some text in there.

I think the green makes the letters pop more and just having the red outlining the heart makes that pop more also.

Ok, frenzy over...thoughts anybody?

I quite prefer this one! The others seem a little on the heavy side, for a wedding. If they were more elegant or 'spindly' (for want of a better word) they may work better. But this one I would choose.
