Default One of my first logos

As I mentioned in my introduction, I'm new to graphic design. Everything I know (which isn't much), I've taught myself. I put together a logo for Waverly Gymnastics Centre, and thought I would see what everyone thinks. I know it isn't the greatest logo, but please keep in mind, I'm just getting started. All tips are welcome, because I know it can be improved. Thanks.

They just wanted the name of the company, and their colors (navy blue, white, and red)

I think you should maybe pick a more solid font for the tagline

I think it gradient to white is too much for the tops of the letters... I would go for a dark blue to light blue instead...

Thanks for the feedback. What do you all think about this one. I don't know why I had "WGA" instead of "WGC", so I fixed it. I guess I just wasn't paying attention.

I like the overall design but the way the font is, it makes it appear to be pixelated or just off. Just my 2 cents

Dwell, are you talking about the "WGC" or the name under that?

"WGC" the acronym. I know the font and i like it i just don't know if it works for this. But this is just my opinion. The customer may think it is the best font ever.

Any other suggestions besides the font. That can be changes fairly easily if the client doesn't like it. Anything else I should change?

Thanks again for the comments.

I'd maybe try lining the text underneath with the bottom of the 'w' - though it may look unbalanced. what is the ident behind supposed to be?
