Yeah, it is supposed to be a person doing something gymnastic. I'm not good with the pen tool, but that is what I came up with.

I'm almost wondering if you even need the "WGC." I just don't know if it's really adding anything to the overall logo. The gymnast icon may be good enough. Maybe? Just my opinion though.

And the Herculanum mixed with the Lucida Calligraphy just doesn't seem to work together for me. I guess I would suggest devoting some more time into the font selection, and try to integrate it more with your over all concept, instead of thinking it's just something that could be swapped.
