Sign Designer...

Hey everyone. Just joined to the forum and wanted to get some input on my website and examples of works. I would like to step up to the next level in designs, but my i can't seem to find any good reading, articles, course on sign designer. I feel like sign designers are left in the dust when it comes to web content for design. I have an associates degree in computer graphics and design, but i would like to expand on that. Any info / advice?

Welcome aboard. As far as the site goes, the designs ok but you could do with cleaning up the code a little and building in some SEO. The title tag and keyword tags are way too long and could be damaging your rankings and chances of more business.

Thanks for the input. I use rapid weaver for the site design, so as far as cleaning up the code don't know how to do about doing that. As far as the title, what do you suggest for the best results. I don't quite understand the keywords and meta tags and robot things and every time i try to read up on it i get lost.

Here's a few tips...

# Your page title is the link that will appear in search results. Since it is what people click on in the search results and is the first thing people see about your site search engines place significant weight on it.
# Usually best if left short ( 5 to 9 words, with most important parts in the first ~ 65 characters)
# Each page should have its own unique page title.
# Your primary keywords should occur early in your page title (from word position 2 to 5 or so).
# Generic words such as "website home" or "welcome to" usually should not appear in your page title.
# Don't forget to use relevant keyword modifiers in your page title to help draw in more relevant traffic.
# Search engines such as Google may display the first ~ 65 to 70 characters from your page title in their search results.
# Ensure your page title differentiates your site from competing sites.
