can anybody tell me how good adobe illustrator is coz i have just got it but don't want to install it and find out its rubbish

Man, you get around these forums huh?


Illustrator is a completly different animal. Great for print, limited usage for the web.

Illustrator is great for vector work. If you're planning on designing logo's or illustrations for print, definitely start using it. If you're creating logo's in photoshop, they're fine for use on the web, but restricted for resizing later for use in print.
