For those of you who have watched the Da Vinci Code do you remember the main character John Langdon who interprets symbols? I found this book he's written on ambigrams (words that can be read upside down or from left to right) called Wordplay, they're truly amazing... You can turn them upside down and still read the word!
You can have a look at his website on: Ambigrams, Logos, Word Art |

Really good if you can do something like this in branding it adds an extra level to the use

Derren Brown did a similar thing in his Trick or Treat series recently. They'd managed to write it so that it read TRICK one way and TREAT the other, so that when the participant picked a card, Derren could flip it over whichever way he wanted to decide their fate.

I have been on the website before. What he can do with a pencil and paper is truly incredible. I remember a tutorial on his website, it really improved my perception of viewing and creating certain aspects of an ambigram.
Toon: Your soo right. Clients would love that feature in their logo. It would be something to admire like the Fedex Logo. |
