ISBN Database Solution

I am looking to put together an online book website for a client. They have expressed interest in having the ability to have a search on their site to find books by ISBN. They would also like to have the ability to restrict said search to only books by certain publishers or by books they have in stock.

That said, what I am in search of is a book database. Preferably one that is updated regularly. I know I am looking at something that will most likely be a recurring monthly charge, but I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction.

I saw your posting about ISBN data. Bowker (Bowker - ISBNs and Database Services for Publishers, Libraries, and Booksellers) licenses its Books in Print database for these purposes, and more information can be found at booksinprint.com: Home.
