Company name

Hi again,

I've come up with a company name/brand name, for my web design work/business.

I have the domain name which is great.

Before I launch my website do I need to put any measures in place regards... branding rights, copyrights.

I'm really new to this and am going to be making a few sites for friends, but would obviously like my name attached to these sites.

Any info would be great.

you should certainly include all the proper meta data to identify the author, copyright, created, etc

Depends what the name is, if it's generic you could have trouble copyrighting it, if it's the opposite it might not be worth the hassle

I think you mean trademarking not copyrighting.

Just dont do what I did and call the company Cow & Monkey its not worth the stick you get lol
