Looks fine in IE 7 sorry, dont have 6. Im beginning to see why so many people dislike Internet explorer. having problems myself.

Maybe you can help me in the mean time.

ok so this would be the html.
Code:

and then the css.
Code:
 .divy {
position:absolute;
width:100%;
height:100%;
top:0px;
left:0px;
backgroundcolor:ff0000;}
This works perfectly in firefox. It takes up the whole screen in min/max and all sizes in between. but in internet explorer its like it cant recognize the width:100%; and height:100%;

I cant figure it out and quite bummed from internet explorer constantly destroying my dreams. help?

Most web-developers know that IE has fallen behind in the race for standards and being able to show the latest and greatest. Many CSS2 properties are unsupported. Some of the more useful ones, are properties such as max-width, max-height, min-width and finally min-height. I will argue, how max-width is a crucial property, when it comes to on line readability, and then I will show you how to make IE emulate the behavior of max-width, and in turn, how to make it emulate many other properties that Internet Explorer for Windows is not directly capable of.

Mine are all absolute positioned and not really the correct way to make layouts work

Fixed it, I spent a while searching through various google resources and came accross this:

Bizarre Internet Explorer 6 Float Behavior

Basically, I took 5px off the width of my right hand column and it seems to work fine - however I wouldnt mind if a few people could test it if they are still using IE and let me know how it looks.

Bare in mind Im just sorting out the logo as its a transparent .png file and IE also doesnt seem to like this either....Im off to google again!

I just thought I'd post this for anyone else having similiar problems.
