Default Dilemma

Well I've just had some business cards printed, and delivered this afternoon.
it was like Christmas opening as I couldnt wait, and they are spot on...

... then I just happened to compare the mobile number to the one written on my white board (its a new number) and its got a digit missing!!!!!!!!

It is my fault as it is wrong on the proof I sent to the printers, but now I have 500 worth and they weren't cheap.

So I'm trying to think of a way to 'cover it up' as it were, possibly by having a nifty little tag or sticker, to be put in a mini-envelope along with the business card when they are handed out, simply notifying the person of the correct mobile number.
What do you reckon? Or am I just too drugged up on codeine to see sense lol

call the company who printed it.. speak to a supervisor.
explain your situation (maybe not saying anything about the proof) and see what they can do. You may be surprised

Surely they would check their copy of the proof? Or at least ask me about it, as they dont want to waste their money reprinting something? :S waa

I think they would rather have a satisfied customer... regardless of the error or who's fault it was. It's worth a shot, I'd try that first.

You can but ask, if you catch them at the right time they might not ask...

Even if they do, they might do you a cheaper price than the first lot to keep you sweet

If it's on a white area you may be able to get ink remover and then you may be able to print over with the correct number

I did contact them, and they did say it was my fault not theirs, but were prepared to discount a re-print. But I honestly cannot afford it as they weren't that cheap to begin with. So I'm kinda at a loss.
I might try and do a mailing thing and incorporate them into it.
At the end of the day my website is on there, most tend to contact me by email and my correct number is on my CV. So maybe all is not lost?
