Default Xhtml Help! Pleeeease!

Please help. What i am trying to do is to retrieve information from a database (obviously! ) what i want to do is to take elements of the database, for example the name of a street.i want the streets, that come from the database, to populate a drop down menu. I then want to be able to choose an option from this drop down menu and for the corresponding information, such as number of houses and average bedroom houses, which are also in the database, to be displayed on screen, either on the same page or on another page.

Can anyone guide me as to how this can be done?

For starters, it's php and mysql you want, not xhtml

For seconds, there's waaaaay too much there to be answered on a forum lol. You need books a-plenty for something like that. You won't get anyone telling you how to do it on a forum.

You can find here what you need : Articles and Tutorials - Extracting Elements from a Database into a Select Form Field

You can also try here : drop down list box using data from MySQL [Archive] - CodingForums.com
