i know this may sound daft and that
but ive just finished some work for a band

which includes a logo
verious flyers and templates
and pin badge designs

all in multiple colours

but!

its a tough one. best way if its a freelance job just for some mates is to work out the hours roughly and set a figure on how much you reckon it took. There are peopel here who can help you properly work this sort of thing out, plsu recruiters and design sites have advice like oimoi.com or creativematch.com.

Work each job out like, logo =£40 etc then add on each bit - I mean its worth being lower to keep them as mates and also to ensure future work. Many bands have been known to stick with their graphic designers and such, propell each other.

How long did the work take you? Work out your hourly rate and invoice them for the hours that the work took.

Not a good idea not agreeing on a fixed fee or hourly fee before hand but looks like you've discovered that!

depends on what your running costs are really, 50 bucks sounds too little for all that work to be honest. Has the band been signed by anybody yet?

£100 is good as long as you get some more work from them
