Student Edition the same as "normal" edition?

hmmm. interesting.
in the states you don't have to declare self employment till you actually fill out your tax forms for the year.
all you have to do then is put down that you ate the cost for an item and then claim it as a business expense and you get the money back in tax rebate. (or part of it, never actually done this myself.)

always interesting finding out how business is conducted elsewhere.

Yeah especially when the majority of Brits hate the way is country is run; the papers are always comparing us to other countries when it comes to costs.
E.g. £1.07 up hear for petrol = approx $2.16 for per litre!! Its only 46p in Cyprus *rolls eyes*
Anyhoo I should shut up, I work for the Government afterall lol
