Default Drop Down Menu

I have made a drop down menu in Dreamweaver. It is a behavior in Dreamweaver 8. But if you go to this link, heartland,
you can see that it is not working correctly. It disappears when you mouse down it. Can someone possibly view the page source and tell me what they think I'm doing wrong?

Hmm. Without looking at the HTML mark-up I would hazard a guess that the JavaScript events aren't complete. Meaning something is messed up in the onmouseover and onmouseout events. Personally it's my recommendation to use CSS for dropdown menus unless Dreamweaver has changed to use CSS dropdowns instead of JavaScript.

From my experience they're just cleaner and more browser friendly and deal with block level objects whereas JavaScript really only shines for processing and handling requests and not so much manipulating HTML elements although that is its most common use.

I'm still not too familiar with CSS. Any resources you know of?

I agree I'd get a CSS menu installed, you can find a good few here if you're interested...

You should use Suckerfish Dropdowns.
