Default Flash Video

I'm using Dreamweaver. How can I place a Flash video on my webpage?

export the flash vid to a web-page and then copy and paste the code it generates.
perhaps drag&drop?
or actually learn to write some XHTML instead of relying on a WYSIWYG.

sorry if that was harsh. i just don't see how using dreamweaver has anything to do with putting a .swf in a .html

Not sure how to make it any clearer. I'm not an expert coder like you, so I'm using Dreamweaver to design a website. I tried to drag and drop it in but it wouldn't play. Why are you confused? Can swf. files not be put into html?

or you could actually try helping... should you feel compelled to be a productive member of society (or the forum). If you don't use Dreamweaver then I don't see why you'd even bother posting on this, unless your goal was to show people how smart you are. Or maybe flexing your big brain makes you feel better because you know something they don't... WHATEVER

Anyhow.. here's what he meant to say
Insert Flash into Dreamweaver

that was helpful!
you can save flash files to web pages straight from flash.
then just copy the code it wrote into whatever page your working on.

when you say flash vid, are you trying to embed an SWF or trying to play an FLV

if its an swf you can just go to insert media, it should be in one of the dropdown menus at the top left in dreamweaver.
