Annoying purple box help and a little feedback.

There's probably so much streamlining that can be done to this, the preload doesn't seem to be doing it's thing either and also an annoying box around the news button which I just can't shake.

Well, that's what happens when you let an illustrator implement a website ;)

I like the background image alot, it is a shame it loads slow but the graphics are nice

The bg image was made up in 3ds max (love that program). It does take ages to load though and that's why I should never be allowed near a copy of dreamweaver!

Surely it doesn't take that long to load? It's only 6 images.

It did take a while, not sure why but the nav took ages and their not that big a file size

That's what I was thinking, the images aren't that big but I don't know to get around the issue. Any suggestions?

I spose the tables could effect the load time, it's common knowledge that tables take longer to load than divs. Most probably the way the tables are constructed.
