Here's a site I made for you to have a look at. It was just a quicky for a local band and please forgive the crappy preloader ;)

I like it the only thing I noticed is the navigation is not clear, it blends in with rest. Good stuff

Ok, couple things.

Splash page is layed out nicely. Only thing is that the "navigation" is not immediately known. It took me about 10 seconds before i figured out where the nav was, and thats way to long in web land.

Anything that's clickable, should let you know you can click on it on rollover, some kind of highlight, or icon... color change... anything.

Once i hit the band page, I found myself trapped, i couldn't get back out to the main page of the site. Your rollovers for band members are a bit awkward, I am always a big fan of "clicking" something to open information as apposed to it to showing up when my mouse rolls over it.

and last thing, always make sure your created by's open a new window, don't overtake the clients site with yours.

I kinda wanted it to look like a band poster and less like a site with regular navigation, if you have any ideas or pointers on how I could acheive a balance between the two (or just to make the nav more obvious) It would be appreciated.

I get the trapped page thing now and then with it, but when I look through the script it all seems normal. Any ideas on what could be causing it?

I'll get the nav sorted and make it stand out more too (that's 2 for 2 now... damn!!), fair comment on the 'created by' link (which shouldn't really be up there seeing as the sites down for now), I thought that had been changed but obviously not.

Nice one for the feedback fellahs, just what I was after.

I like the way it looks like a poster it's a great effect, agree with the nav though.

I really like your layout! I like how you kept the info very straightforward and didn't add a bunch of 'fluff' content. I think band website are really in a transition with the rise of the popularity of myspace. Myspace is quickly becoming the way that a lot of fans connect with bands. I like how you have a direct myspace link prominent of every page.
That being said, I am not a big fan of sites that are entirely flash. They are not good for search engines and they are not very easily updated.
