Think you need to have a good think about your business. You say 'We make web design simple' but

Doesn't really give much confidence that you know what you're doing.

You might be in the yellow pages but I'm not sure many people would commission you to design their website if they saw all the questions you're still asking about where to begin.

Just a wee warning as google will likely pick up your posts on here pretty quickly, and you'll likely find these posts appearing before your own site on their results before long and that's not really what you want prospective clients to be reading.

At the moment it looks like you're doing things backwards. You've advertised your business, but don't yet know how to build your own site let alone other peoples. I know it might sound harse, but if you really want to make a go of it as a web designer, it looks like you really need to take a step back and learn the basics first. Spend a good while learning how to use the software you have, work on building a top notch site for yourself, then start offering your services to others.

I agree also

And, are you really in the yellow pages? I don't believe you. I inquired when trying to tot up marketing costs for my business and its costs thousands to get an advert even the size of a stamp in just a few issues. I really doubt you had that money, and if you did and you have got in the yellow pages you've probably wasted your money. No one would commission you to make a website if you lack even basic understanding.

Harsh, yes probably, true, probably

(if you have in fact got an ad in the yellow pages please feel free to scan it and post here, ill apologise)

It's free to get a standard line on yell.com or in the yellow pages.

But isn't yell.com cheap or maybe even free, but an add in the book is quite pricey??
