Default PNG confused

Hi.
I know that IE 6 shows transparent PNGs with an ugly blue background (unless you add a png fix).
I was wondering, do all images saved as a PNG have this blue background in IE 6, or is it just the transparent PNGs?
I use a mac, so I don't have access to IE6 to check it myself. Thanks a bunch.

Well where else could a background be displayed except through transparency?

Yes, it's only with transparent images.

That's what I thought. My concern was that perhaps there might still be a thin border around the non-transparent pngs in IE6. Good to know this isn't the case. Thanks for clearing it up.
