Just a quick note to say that if you wanted to get hold of a copy of Adobe Illustrator / Indesign / CS - they do 30 day trial downloads of them all, which could see you through until work get you that new macbook
I've hardly done any print work though so couldn't say what's the best way to produce something that big

i want to wait fot the CS3 creative suit to come out for smooth running on intel based macs - altho its going to be £1000
ive got illustrator at home, not sur ewhy but ive never used it! maybe i shud start learning some stuff on it!

you know im not actually sure. i have CS1 though so will get work to buy CS3 and then put it on my mac back home.. happy days!

I used the CS3 beta that is out - and MAN! I say wait for the next version if you have CS2. I didn't notice too many things that were changed besides toolbar changes, and other trivial things that make me not even want the upgrade for color changes. It is starting to remind me of Madden football by EA sports.
