yeah you can use it pretty much like your touch pad, only your finger is the pen and there's buttons on it for other funky stuff :)

prices vary and also depend what size you're after. I have an A5 Wacom Graphire which is ace but you can get just as good results with an A6 sized tablet. Mine was around £100 i think (it was a present) and that was from PC World and at the time, PC World were selling the A6 sized one for about £60.

Hope that helps :)

Haha yeah, there's a lot of computer shops in Leicester you just have to go in to know about them a lot of the time.

I'm told Graphire and Bamboo are good ones to look out for too. Made by Wacom but are still as good as their own brand ones.

I dont know what the sizes of the tablets(A5, A6, etc..) but I own a graphire 4X6 I bought a couple years back that works pretty well for me, I paid about $70(US) for it. I would imagine they have gone down in price now or there may be another one by wacom that has replaced it in that price range. I havent looked. It's still a really nice tablet. Its easy to use. I use a PC and it had plenty of options for customization so that it was easier for me to use. I still dream of owning the wacom cintiq but that is far beyond my price range, anyhow good luck on your search for the right equipment.
