Default Uni project help - reflection

Hi all,

Im doing a live uni project for leicestershire fire service on fireworks saftey for 9-14 year olds. These are to be A3 posters

I have come up with the idea of making the viewer the subject by using a reflective material in the centre of the poster to reflect their face.... the twist being that part of the reflection is distorted in a way that makes it look like its the view that has the scars/burns.

Does anyone have any knowledge or reflective materials or suggest how i may be able to acheive this effect.

I feel making the viewer the subject (especially younger people) it will have more impact on how they think as they are now the victom of messing with fireworks... also involves the viewer so should be remembered more later on.

Thanks for any help/guidance you have for me.

regards

craig

good idea, however reflective materials is tough. it's usually very expensive in production and what you are looking for would probably also need to be pretty solid, i.e not as foldable as paper.

i hope you find some material, i cant help you more than that.

look into rosco-lux or lee gels. that might work out for you but i'm unsure how well you can print on them considering they are theater lighting filters.
