Try not to use absolute positioning. It removes things from the normal flow of the page and (in IE anyway) places them above everything else.
I'm pretty sure that's your problem.

Right. I'm almost complete with a website for a dry cleaner. The problem is when i take it into internet explorer. The images go behind the main content div! (I have tried z-index before any one says)
Anyone help?

Have noticed Van is behind in Firefox. Thats due to messing around trying to fix it.

Get rid of z-index, it's a complete hack
Position: absaloute will ruin things also

Well i think there is some problem occuring in ur internet explorer !
m also facing a problem regarding to internet explorer, well its it used to put an error everytime , the error is regarding some error report !
May be u get ur solution with by re instaling tem as i did it !
