How can I make my splash page look more proffesional?

It is currently awesomely blocky and I'll be totally honest was created on MSPaint, due to my computer with Cs2 blowing up.

I wish to integrate the logo/badge into the second picture below.

I am willing to pay, If someone can help!

The splash page is located at Lowerhouse Cricket Club: Established 1862

My advise is to get rid of it completely, they're very old fashioned and are really bad for SEO. It's just another click for the user.

I don't care about SEO to be honest, its for my close nit community, so I'm not bothered about people who don't know it viewing it, I just want it to look proffesional
