How Do You Create Random Images????

Hi can anyone help?

I am currently creating my website in Dreamweaver CS3 and i want to have my banner to generate a random image everytime the page gets loaded or refreshed. I have searched on google and found some coding but i don't know how to implement it. The banner i want to change is in a table cell - thats as much as i know lol. As you may tell i am new to dreamweaver, so can anyone help please!!!!!

Think that's right.

This script works on the condition(s) that your images are named by a number (eg 5.jpg) and that you have ten of them.

So confused lol!!

Im just not sure where i enter the scripts in the coding? I have the jpgs in a folder ready to go but i dont know where in the scripts i insert these codes. Do i highlight the table cell and replace its code or what? Might just give up and leave it with the one image.

I cracked it!!!!

I managed to get the desired affect using the following example of code:



I just placed it where i wanted the image to appear, changed the image names and it seems to work perfectly.

Yeah ill have it up and running by (hopefully) the end of next week. I've still got a bit more content to put in and a few changes, then you can all judge it - just remember it's my first stab at creating one lol!!
