Default Pricing help

hello, Ive been doing 3danimation graphic/web design and photography for about 3 years now. About a year ago I landed a job in my field and never entered the freelance world. I'm now trying to earn extra money and need help with pricing I know about AIGA and I hope to get the book soon but until then I could use some help.

I have known my customer for 6 months and have created a buisness card and a postcard for her customer(she is a design consultantpeople ask her for designs she finds the people to make it and sends it back to the customer). The buisness card I did was set at 50$ and the postcard at 75$

She now wants me to do an email design or blast(not for spam but for existing customers to let them know about products) lol

This will include no flash just graphic and html I create these 2 a week for work and have no idea what I should price it at any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks!
heather

Please don't take offence but if she's a design consultant and you charged $50 she probably charged $150, 6 months of grace is done bump your prices up and make sure she knows that you do the creative stuff so you deserve a bigger slice of the profits. For an email design look at $100-$200 but if you are planning to do work like this in the future make sure you have an hourly rate otherwise you will come unstuck before long.

I have known people that have done a logo design for $200 flat fee and spent nearly 50 hours on it with revision after revision, that worked out to like $4 an hour which isn't worth the effort.

Best of luck

thanks I appreciate that. I know I didn't detail it but the business card was mostly just edits but I think I do need to bump my pricing up since I have been doing this for so long. I just didn't really know how rates go out of my graphic job I currently have.
thanks!
